Many onsite billing employees lack the motivation, experience and knowledge needed to review insurance carrier payments/denials, write effective appeal letters and track outstanding account receivables. As an example , at Archway Practice Management, our we follow up on outstanding claims according to the payment patters of individual insurance carriers. If we know that an insurance carrier usually pays a claim 10 days after submission, we follow-up on those claims at that point – not 30 days later like many other billing companies or in house billing staff. Why let the insurance carriers hang onto your money any longer than they should? And we don’t just make a courtesy call to find out what they’re doing with the claim. We get them to pay it.
